Mini Fest Events

We imagined the weekend as a journey through the elements of Āyurveda — color and water, fire and air, then the stars overhead. Each gathering carries its own texture, energy, and purpose.

Here, you'll find the intention, theme, schedule, color palette, and dress code for each celebration.

Our four main events will take place over three days. Thursday is reserved for family and the wedding party. On Friday and Saturday, we'll all celebrate together, followed by a family-only gathering on Sunday.

Sangeet. We tumble into Junglistani — a surreal, lush Indian wonderland where the jungle comes alive after dark. Jewel-box color, fantastical botanicals, mischievous creatures, peacock feathers, rich textiles, and a little bit of beautiful chaos. This is the night to be playful, extravagant, and unafraid of color.

Our most personal chapter. “Ice-Cream Baby,” Vinita's childhood nickname, meets “PK” — Nate, the preacher's kid — as two families, histories, and paths become one. After the riot of color of the nights before, the world softens. The ceremony is luminous and restrained, allowing the sacredness of the moment — and the people within it — to take center stage. The sacred fire is brought to life by the breath of air, just as Nate's fiery spirit and Vinita's airy spirit come together in balance.

Dress code

Indian attire is requested for the wedding ceremony. Ivory, gold, and champagne are ideal, without added color. Please avoid red, black, and save silver for the reception.

Women: Saris are recommended, though lehengas, shararas, and kurta sets are also welcome. Heels are welcome.

Men: Please wear a kurta-pajama set or light-colored slacks and a long-sleeve button-down. No dark suits, but light suits are welcome. Flat slip-ons or loafers are recommended for easy take-off and on.

When the ceremonies end, we look upward. For thousands of years, people have navigated by the stars — marking seasons, telling stories, inspiring myths. Beneath a sky of shimmering lights, we celebrate not just a marriage, but the countless moments, people, and paths that brought us here. The constellations become our ceiling; the dance floor becomes our universe.

Dress code

Evening glamour with a touch of fusion. A beautifully draped saree, an embroidered lehenga, a classic tuxedo, a black-tie gown, or a modern silhouette accented with Indian jewelry or textiles — let your style reflect the magic of the night.
